Two day promise... forced to freeze tomorrow

I ordered my new tank and a refill on January 12th because on the 16th it's going to be freezing. 32 for a high temp... the site says 2 day delivery and I was just informed by their customer service rep (I contacted them) that they have a goal to deliver my order tomorrow January 16th. Not counting sunday how many days is that? It's 3 days. I'm done doing business with this lying false advertising company. I am forced to work in literal freezing weather tomorrow because they're unreliable. I will not ever recommend this company again.

A good way to *** someone off!!!

Went to my local walmart to get 3 propane bottle exchanges. When I went in to pay for it, they told me to pay outside, where the propane bottles are.

I looked puzzled and walked outside. When I got to the spot where the bottles were, there was a card machine with keypad and display screen. I followed the instructions perfectly. each time I finished, the screen and computer voice said "your card will be charged 19.95.

When I left, I got 3 notifications on my phone that I was charged 56.30. By the way, this was on a Saturday. So I turned around and went to the walmart customer service. They told me that they don't have anything to do with the automatic Blue Rhino kiosks and that I would need to contact the customer service for Blue Rhino.

I asked them for the number. They don't have it. So I went outside to look on the kiosk. After 10 minutes of searching, I found it on the 4th screen of the FAQ pages.

When I called, an answering voice came on and said our business Hours are Monday thru Friday 9 to 5. So I guess I'm just going to be out around 110.00 for the weekend. When Monday morning came, I called. The customer service rep.

explained to me that they charge full price for 48 hours and then they will give me my money back.

So 3 days later, I finally got my money back. I will never do that again!!!

Bought new tank and was given empty tank instead

Bought a new tank at kiosk for $55 and door opened and gave me an empty tank instead. Called CS rep and she advised me to leave tank in front of kiosk and Blue Rhino is responsible.

Told her that is a dumbest thing I heard and left it with a supervisor instead. Two days later Blue Rhino calls me and tells me that they wont issue refund until they confirm tank is returned. At first they advised me to just leave it in plain open in front of service machine. So that tells me that they are trying to screw people over.

I have disputed charge with my bank for their fraud attempt. They are trying to pin the loss of tank on me after telling me to just leave it in front of machine in beginning.

I was at the *** & go at Republic Missouri at 9:25 a.m. on September 12th 2022 I was sitting in my vehicle when a Blue rhino driver pulled behind me and parked his big old semi blocking me in.

I understand everyone has a job to do so I waited for a little bit and I went inside the store. He remained parked behind me for over 30 minutes before I finally had to squeeze my way out inch by inch so I wasn't late for class absolutely ridiculous to block in vehicles at a convenience store.

Then when I brought it to his attention he felt it was appropriate to throw up his hands and look at me like I was the dumb one. Unacceptable.

Bad seals on tanks

The first tank I used was fine the next two tanks I bought had bad seals. I bought a fourth tank and it worked fine so the issue is the seals on two of the blue rhino tanks. Do you have a fix-it kit to work with it , because I have two worthless tanks

Very poor service.

The driver pulled in behind a car at the store to restock the cages. When a employee went out to ask the drive to move the truck the blue rhino employee stated the she would move it when the customer is leaving. The customer was already at the register paying. The employee said that she will have to move. The blue rhino employee started cussing and just left leaving all the cages empty. Very unprofessional and loss of profit to both the company and the store.

Lying and no deliverys

I have a small country store I sold blue rhino for 6 year with out too many problems. Middle of May I ran out of propane beforte the holiday called for refill they told me I would have it in couple days now after several calls after July 4th still no propane today I told them I'm done and get their stuff out of my store if some reason they could not get me propane tell me truth don't keep lying to me Smith's Country Store 4287 State Rt. 157 Venus Pa 16364

I purchased a new blue rhino grill, and a with that grill it came with a $10 off propane tank purchase. I purchased the blue rhino propane tank, sent in as instructed on the rebate form: the rebate form, the receipt for the propane tank, and the proof of purchase of the grill, along the receipt.

Now the contact center is telling me that the claim in invalid and taking up to 6 days to respond, if at all. They are clearly trying to avoid full filling their rebate obligations. I have given them all of the documentation that is required, as well as the original hard copies which they now claim they do not have anymore.

Even though they clearly got the envelope in the first place as to give me a ticket number. I will be contacting the BBB and reporting their activity.

GGC2030L It obviously takes a special kind.

Grill top not right on razor grill

Received this as a present last year but because of health issues we recently just put it together. The top does not lay flat. One side is up and the other is down. Pictures show an even space all the way around when properly attached. This was installation should have been done at factory.

I survived the tornado in Dawson Springs, Ky. But, I had an electrical fire that took out my electrical heat.

Heating with propane and kerosene. Exchanged a tank at Casey's and hooked it up. Barely over half a tank of gas. Not cool at all for 24.99.

You guys are dirty. I have a guage that shows how much gas is in every tank.

And, I got *** You don't even fill them full. I will let everyone know how you take advantage of storm victims.

Thank you for taking the time to write to us with your concern. Inflationary pressures, including the volatile costs of steel, diesel fuel, and propane, have had a significant impact on the cylinder exchange industry.

In 2008, to help control these rising costs, Blue Rhino followed the example of other consumer products companies with a product content change. We reduced the amount of propane in our tanks from 17 pounds to 15 pounds. The best way to tell the accurate weight of a tank is to weigh it; especially if the tank feels heavy. Blue Rhino uses what is called a standard 20 pound cylinder, but the empty weight and full weight of tanks do vary.

The empty or tare weight of a cylinder is from 16.6 to 19 pounds (there will be a TW stamped into the metal up near the collar with a number beside it: this is the empty weight of the tank). With 15 pounds of liquid propane, the approximate weight should be 31 to 34 pounds. We do not recommend using gauges as they are not always accurate. Each retail location determines the cost of their exchange and non exchange tanks, we do not control this decision in our office.
